Une jolie carafe à alambic contenant le célèbre whisky japonais. Conçue en hommage au Kingsland éponyme, le premier alambic utilisé par Nikka.

Nikka a été fondé en 1934 par Masataka Taketsuru, un ancien employé de Suntory qui avait étudié à l'Université de Glasgow, puis suivi une formation d'assembleur à la distillerie Hazelburn de Campbeltown. Taketsuru a ouvert la distillerie Yoichi l'année même de la création de la société, puis les distilleries Nishinomaya et Miyagikyo en 1959 et 1969, respectivement. Depuis 1989, la société s'est également intéressée à l'industrie du whisky écossais après avoir racheté la distillerie Ben Nevis en difficulté. Aujourd'hui, elle est l'un des deux plus grands producteurs de whisky au Japon.

Nikka est l'une des sociétés de boissons alcoolisées les plus connues au Japon. An attractive pot still decanter containing the famous Japanese blended whisky. Designed in homage to eponymous Kingsland, the first pot still used by Nikka.

Nikka was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, a former Suntory employee who had studied at the University of Glasgow, and later trained as a blender at theHazelburn distillery in Campbeltown. Taketsuru opened the Yoichi distillery in the same year as establishing the company, followed by the Nishinomaya and Miyagikyo distilleries in 1959 and 1969, respectively. Since 1989 the company has also has also had a stake in the Scotch whisky industry after they purchased the struggling Ben Nevis distillery. Today they are one of the second largest whisky producer in Japan.
